I grew up on a small island in coastal BC. It’s eccentric community + idyllic landscape helped nurture me while I endured an unstable + chaotic home life.
Frequently escaping into elaborate make-believe worlds, young me had a deep attraction to all things fantasy + magic. I was always writing stories about fairies, drawing pictures of mermaids or making potions in the woods. For as along as I can remember I’ve believed that there was hidden magic waiting for me to find it.
Along with my affinity for mythical beings came an interest in the occult + all things esoteric. When I was 9 I was gifted my first book on Astrology + since the moment I read it’s interpretation of my Pisces sun - studying Astrology has consumed me.
Astrology provided my younger self with the validation + reassurance she so desperately needed. Learning about my own chart made me feel seen + understood in ways I never had before.
My studies deepened drastically in my mid 20’s + during my Saturn return in 2021 I began consulting professionally.
Working with clients made me fall even deeper in love with the ancient science. It is an absolute honour to share the language + witness its impact on others. After awhile I noticed the majority of my clients wanted to address challenges pertaining to their mental health. Considering my own history of mental illness + abuse I knew I wanted to be there for my clients in this way - however there is only so much you can say (ethically) to mental health through the Astrological lens. In 2023 I received a diploma in Counselling + Psychology from Kelowna College of Professional Counselling. This education helped round out my Astrological knowledge + consulting skills with a solid foundation in counselling approaches + techniques.
Today I live in my home town with my partner + two dogs; building a home, creating art, gardening + working as an Astrological counsellor.
